The Hon'ble Chief Minister announced the formation of 26 districts in Andhra Pradesh State on April 4, 2022. The Indian Red Cross Society runs 26 district branches, i.e., Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam, S.P.S.R.Nellore, Chittoor, Ananthapuram, YSR Kadapa, Kurnool, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Konaseema, NTR, Palnadu, Bapatla, Nandyal, Alluri Sitharama Raju, Kakinada, Eluru, Tirupati, Parvathipuram Manyam, Anakapalli, Sri Sathya Sai, and Annamayya districts.
It has 171 Sub-Branches The District Collector is the President of the District Branch and the Mandal Revenue Officer/Tahsildar is the President of the District Sub-Branch
